Thank you, Father

April 21, 2013 by Nadia Hattingh

While taking a short break away, before the rush of this term’s Literacy and Bible teaching start, I got sick with malaria again. This time however, I was not nearly as sick as the previous year when I had to be flown to the city for treatment. I still ended up in hospital for a day’s observation, but was released that evening and after returning the 7 hours drive home (4 of which on muddy unpaved roads), I was able to rest and recuperate.

The rest was short though, since we were under time constraint to start with the next Literacy course. We are very thankful that the Lord enabled me so that the course started in time! “For man it is impossible, but for God nothing is impossible….” Thank you, Father.

Because of some chronic health issues, my body does not recuperate fast from any sickness. Last year it took nearly two months before I could get out of bed after the malaria and several more months before I was able to work full-time again! This time, God has been so gracious in giving me the strength to start work only a short few days after the malaria.

Will you please pray that I will regain full strength soon (as full as my “normal” strength can be! :))? He is faithful.
