Teaching, changing and growing in faith

September 2, 2013 by Nadia Hattingh

Francois and the Bible teachers preparing the week’s lessons. They are teaching about the life of Christ… how he healed the sick, drove out demons, answered questions, walked on water and taught His disciples. Within the next two weeks we will teach about Christ’s death, burial and resurrection…

We love to see how the Lord is teaching these Mwinika men; how they are learning to apply what they learn from His Word to everyday life. Teaching others these truths is also growing their faith. The Lord allowing our partners a longer home assignment time, has created this opportunity for these 5 Mwinika guys to step up and co-teach. Thank you for praying for them!

This is also the time each week when they discuss everyday events and how the Word applies to that. They are confronted with hard stuff, things they have done the same way for centuries… It is amazing to see the Lord slowly but surely change their worldview as they learn to trust and love Him more. Francois is discipling these men so that they will be able to go out and disciple others. Pray for Francois for wisdom as the number of believers grow and the work accelerates.
