Teaching about death and resurrection

September 10, 2013 by Nadia Hattingh

The teaching here in our village is especially intense this week as we do the lessons on the death and resurrection of Jesus.

The attendance is good and people are eager to hear what is going to happen next… Most have never heard about the crucifixion and hardly anyone about the resurrection of Christ. As we visit our friends and talk about the lessons, it is clear that although they understand in concept that a blood sacrifice is needed to pay for our sins, many still do not foresee what it will entail.

Pray for open hearts, clear understanding and complete acceptance of Christ as their personal Saviour. Pray too for us and the handful believers’ protection as the spiritual battle intensify.
