As we near the end of the first cycle teaching through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in our village, we see more clearly a separation between believers and unbelievers. As the Mwinika put it: do we sit under the shade tree of Satan, or do we sit in the shade of God?
Many believe and still come to the teaching! Praise God for each saved soul! Today’s teaching on the end times had them open mouthed, flabbergasted and in awe! There WILL be and end to all of this imperfectness on earth?! Unbelievers will suffer tremendously in the last days?! Everyone, believers and unbelievers WILL bow down before God one day?! This is beyond anything they have ever dreamed about… But they believe. And they are saved! We rejoice with the angles for each Mwinika man, woman and child that have gladly accepted the gift of salvation!
Some believe but need time to assimilate and think things through. They are still not completely sure if they can trust God fully. Others are under pressure from their families to not come to the teaching anymore. For these, we continue to pray and hope that their hearts will be turned and that they will completely surrender to Christ, no matter what the cost. Pray.
But, like we know there would be, there sadly also are those that have fallen away. Now for the first time in our area, we see a slow but sure move, a water shed, between believers and unbelievers. There are those who say in so many words that they simply cannot accept that Christ is the only Way to God. They reject the Message of salvation and have turned their backs on it. For these people we continue to intercede, to pray and live Christ, believing that even now some – we pray many! – will be saved. Please pray with us.
