When things fall apart… you welt it together again!

February 24, 2015 by Nadia Hattingh

Living “on the other side of no-where” implies that we are very dependent on reliable transport. For both Mwinika Church Plant families, transport is a huge challenges at the moment.

Last year this time, the Hendersons’ car burned out. (See https://blogs.ethnos360.org/phil-henderson/2014/02/04/the-lord-gave-and-the-lord-has-taken-away) Since then they have acquired a new vehicle, but still do not have enough finances to import this vehicle.

This means that the whole Mwinika Church Plant team is still dependent on the Hattingh (our) vehicle.. SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

But our vehicle is literally falling apart…

Even though our vehicle is OLD- a 1992 Land Curser – it has served us faithfully for almost 10 years! We need a strong vehicle to tolerate the bad dirt roads leading to our villages and this kind of vehicle is the only type that has proven able. In the last few years, we have had to spend increasing amounts to keep the vehicle on the road. We are trying to keep the vehicle in one piece, but metal fatigue is causing more tears in another place as soon as it is welded.

Please pray with us for a dependable vehicle – soon!
