Expanding our Discipleship Conference – April

May 29, 2018 by Nadia Hattingh

Often ministers of the Word coming through Bible or mission schools come to the field well equipped to teach the Word of God and in our organization workers are specifically trained to function within a cross-cultural setting.

Yet, to minister the Word of God holds so much more depth than just teaching it!  Together with colleagues not only from Mozambique, but also from Tanzania, South Africa and West-Africa, we explored this very practical side of ministry.

Expanding our discipleship to go beyond the teaching context, the Bible lesson development or translation context but to venture into having a day to day impact with life-on-life discipleship with those we live among.  We were also encouraged during the conference by inspired speaking during devotionals and being reminded of our organizational ministry values.

It was a real blessing to visit with friends and fellow workers from the region!
