Although some are just too happy to stop this practice, most continue to do it.  Some believers say they fast now, not to get \u201cpoints\u201d from God, but to show their thankfulness for his Redeemer.<\/p>\n<p>Pray for the whole Mwinika community during this month.  The fast is a huge social event that draws people and families together. It also has a huge spiritual significance that can\u2019t be overlooked.  Pray for those believers who fast (some only for a few days) with non-believers in order to continue to be able to speak into their lives.
