We flew from Maputo Mozambique, to Lichinga in the far north of the country, more than 3000 km in all. \u00a0As we flew over vast areas of bush and woods, one could clearly see evidence of people in the cleared areas.\u00a0 Here and there smoke would rise lazily in the air where fires to clear more land were made.\u00a0 I was impressed with the huge areas of land where there were no roads, no brick buildings and no evidence of modern age.\u00a0 Most villages seemed completely isolated with only thin lines of tracks winding from one hamlet to the next.<\/p>\n<p>Looking down on this land, I felt the Lord\u2019s tuck in my heart: who will tell them that there is Hope and Life beyond this earth?\u00a0 How can one even start to reach these isolated areas where there are lost peoples, loved by our Father?<\/p>\n<p>A few years later, when we heard about NTM coming to Mozambique, we jumped at the opportunity to reach these unreached people groups!<\/p>\n<p>We have now been living in this isolated village in the middle of Mwinikaland for the last 10 years.\u00a0 We have learned the language, and are part of a team of two couples and 10 Mwinika guys translating the Bible, and developing lesson and literacy materials.\u00a0 How much God has done!\u00a0 How much still need to be done\u2026<\/p>\n<p>We celebrate God\u2019s faithfulness!\u00a0 He truly does not want ONE person to be lost.\u00a0 The harvest is ripe, however the labourers so few.\u00a0 Does the Lord want to use you in some way to reach the unreached with his Good News?\u00a0 Do not wait another day to become part of this great venture and plan that will last for eternity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 1997 I flew in a small aeroplane over Mozambique.\u00a0 It was my first time in a \u201cfish tin\u201d (that\u2019s how the 8 seater looked like) and a great adventure!
