Please pray especially for the men in leadership that are also vulnerable to infidelity.\u00a0 Culturally, not only infidelity but also polygamy is part of life among the Mwinika.\u00a0 As believers they must learn to follow a different path.<\/p>\n<p>Do you remember Jami?\u00a0 She was our closest neighbor in the village and a good friend, that turned to witchcraft.\u00a0 During the last months we lived there, it was clear that the demonic spirits \u201cleft\u201d Jami.\u00a0 She was not being visited by them anymore and not only lost financially, but also lost \u201cface\u201d as a witch doctor.\u00a0 Sadly, rather than turning to the Lord after the spirits fled (we believe due to our combined prayers!) she left the community and is now living closer to a town where there is hardly any Christian witness.\u00a0 Please continue to pray for Jami\u2019s and all her children\u2019s salvation!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1602\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/francois-hattingh\/files\/2015\/07\/Jamila-Copy-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/francois-hattingh\/files\/2015\/07\/Jamila-Copy-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/francois-hattingh\/files\/2015\/07\/Jamila-Copy-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/francois-hattingh\/files\/2015\/07\/Jamila-Copy.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Photo: Despite being a witch doctor, Jami is also very religious.\u00a0 This picture was taken a few years back.\u00a0 The middle eastern religion is mixed with animism to form a syncretism of beliefs that most of the Mwinika are still trapped in. So many lost peoples in the world!
