\"\"<\/a>We met at a church youth meeting and soon became fast friends! Francois went to study Forestry Engineering at a town 800km from where Nadia lived and studied, but we kept in contact through \u201csnail\u201d mail and holiday visits. At the end of our final year at university, we got engaged and married in December 1993.<\/p>\n

We both felt called to mission work in Africa and after 3 years of marriage and secular jobs, was sent out by the church in RSA to work with the National Church in Mozambique.<\/p>\n

While on the field, our three kids were added to our family, the first, Franco, after 7 years of marriage. Two years later Waldo joined us and six years after that, in a very special way, Heide-Marie became our little girl.<\/p>\n

After 6 years on the field, we spend time away to pray and hear what the Lord wants for our future. We learned about New Tribes Mission and their interest to work in Mozambique… And here we are, NTM members and working under a unreached people group in Mozambique! We count it a privilege to serve Him and be used by Him.<\/p>\n

We are very aware that God is doing this work, despite our mistakes! He is doing this awesome ministry and you (through prayers and support) and we (by being the \u201cfeet\u201d) have the privilege to be part of it! Wow. We will always be amazed at the way Father chose to make Himself known to the nations: through us (all of us!), His disciples.<\/p>\n
