It took us 5 days to finally get here, but praise the Lord we made it!<\/p>\n<p>We were not able to leave South Africa on the Monday we planned, as Francois found a very frazzled tie-rod end over the Easter weekend.  We had to wait until shops open again, before we could find the right part to fix the car.  That was done on the Tuesday (10 April) and Francois managed to fix the car.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of Tuesday was spent packing the two vehicles \u2013 ours and our friends Kobus and Ida from the church in Parys that were graciously travelling with us.  We decided to make a go for the border \u2013 even at that late time of the day \u2013 and spent the night in Maputo.
