We talked about good things that can result from “our troubles”. I witnessed about how the Lord called me into missions: I didn’t want to at first, because I didn’t like changes. I wanted to live and bring our kids up in one place, one community. However, the Lord showed me that I should not put my faith and trust in places or people, but in Him.

This led to us talking about what difficulties might lie in our future… and that we will have to move away from Mwinikaland one day. Our kids’ reactions surprised us!

Heidi: “Are you SURE we’ll have to leave one day? Can’t we just stay here forever?”

Franco said: “Oh, how we will miss this place if we ever have to leave! I hope we can move into another tribe after we leave here!
