When the Manubu’ people in a village which we call 24 reached the lesson about Jesus dying on the cross to pay the penalty for all of our sins, they all started crying – from the youngest to the oldest.
In the 25 years we have been here with the Manubu’ people we have never before seen such an emotional response from them to what Jesus did for them on the cross. It is just not something that is part of their culture. Needless to say, the Manubu’ Bible teachers who have been teaching them are very encouraged.
PLEASE PRAY that these people will all go on learning God’s word and focus their lives on HIM.
