Piduy will be going this coming week to the other province where Mahan is and helping Mahan to begin translating the first lessons of our Manubu’ chronological evangelical lesson series. We’ve heard that Mahan has been making good progress in learning the language there. Please PRAY for safety as Piduy travels by motorcycle, for wisdom, understanding, and an encouraging experience as they translate. Mahan is anxious to start teaching!
Jason, Jonie, and baby Jordan from the States arrived today to help with the renovation and improvements of our house. Jason has already installed our new batteries for our solar system and has made good progress preparing the pole for our lightning protection system. Please PRAY for good weather and wisdom for Jason as he tackles our to-do list. It rained last night and much of the day today and is raining as we write this. We’re so thankful that the Lord opened a window in the weather this morning so Jason, Jonie, and Jordan could fly in to our location.
A continuing item for PRAYER is the teenage Manubu’ believers. Please PRAY that they continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord and won’t yield to temptation including marrying unbelievers.
We are back in our village and Gene is slowly but surely healing from his recent surgery, although still pretty sore. Thanks for praying.
We pray that you are as excited as we are as Mahan’s outreach to another language group progresses, and his fellow believers here in our village and elsewhere help him in various ways even though he is about 140 miles away.
Thanks so much for being part of what God is doing among the Manubu’ through your prayers and encouragment.
