Greetings.\u00a0 We are planning for a four day Manubu’ Bible teacher seminar here in our village during the first week of November.\u00a0 We are excited and pleased that there are a total of 40 active Manubu’ Bible teachers teaching groups of believers and doing many evangelistic outreaches.\u00a0 Please PRAY<\/b> that all 40 teachers will attend.<\/p>\nMost of the teaching for the seminar will be done by Mahan, Pulding, and Piduy,\u00a0 three knowledgeable\u00a0 Manubu’ Bible teachers here in our village.\u00a0 Please PRAY<\/b> for them as they prepare to teach eight lessons that Gene and Pulding have written – that they will be fully prepared to answer questions.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
Gene will be teaching on the importance of continually studying God’s Word and will give instruction on how to study it.\u00a0 PRAY<\/b> for him as he prepares his presentation – that it will be clear, helpful, and effective.<\/p>\n
We have been told that many of the Manubu’ Bible teachers will have questions about how to answer pastors of religions which have moved into their areas.\u00a0 These religions teach that we are eternally saved by believing, being baptized, and doing good works.\u00a0 They use a Bible translation that supports their theology so it can be difficult to answer them as they just point to that translation to prove what they believe.\u00a0 Please PRAY<\/b> for wisdom in advising the Bible teachers how to answer.<\/p>\n
