\ndiagnosis of why she has been having stomach problems for a number of
\nweeks now. Please *PRAY* for diagnosis of the problem and a solution.<\/p>\n
Only four more Proverbs chapters to translate! Mahan has already started
\nteaching Proverbs to the believers in our village. Please *PRAY* for
\nwisdom as to what in the OT to translate next.<\/p>\n
Our daughter , Michelle, and her husband, Howie, safely made the long
\ntrip back to Missouri from Washington State after his stroke and the
\nLord opened the way for Howie to see doctors immediately at the VA
\nhospital in St Louis.<\/p>\n
A couple excerpts from emails from our daughter, Michelle, about Howie.<\/p>\n
“The neurologist (at the VA hospital in St Louis) came in and told us
\nthe damage is done and can’t be reversed, and they can’t do anything
\nabout the blocked arteries. They can hopefully try to clean out the one
\ndecent artery and try to prevent another stroke.”<\/p>\n
“Howie is getting really down. He feels stupid and frustrated when he
\ncan’t talk right or remember. A lot of times he doesn’t know what we’re
\ndoing or why like when we went in to the local VA clinic today to get an
\nappointment for a primary Dr. even though I explained it several times
\non the way he had no idea why we were there.”<\/p>\n
Please *PRAY* for strength for Michelle and that Howie will get all the
\nhelp possible for his condition, and that the Lord will use this
\nsituation in their lives. They are moving their camper closer to St
\nLouis so they will be closer to their church and friends and the VA
\nhospital.<\/p>\n
