This story is amazing. We asked to pray for Monica, daughter of Pulding
\nwho is our translation helper. It just so happened that unbeknown to
\nPulding and us also the timing of Monica’s arrival at German Doctor’s
\nHospital in the city coincided with a team of surgical specialists from
\nGermany being at another free hospital which is owned by the city
\ngovernment from November 8 through 19. German Doctor’s Hospital sent
\nMonica over to the city hospital. The German surgeons focused on
\nsurgery for things such as cleft lip or cleft pallet and the kind of
\nproblem Monica has. They operated on Monica the night of November 8 US
\nEast coast time. Hmm. Wonder Who arranged the timing of all that?<\/p>\n
Lack of an uvula was what was causing Monica’s speech problem. The
\nuvula is the little finger like thing that sticks down from the top at
\nthe rear of the mouth. We don’t know exactly what the surgeons did, but
\nPulding said they somehow formed a uvula.<\/p>\n
Monica is currently on a diet of milk, ice cream, and cold water. Also
\nfever and pain medication. Last night for the first time since surgery
\nshe was able to get up and walk to the bathroom. Please *PRAY* for a
\ngood recovery and when healed her speech will be understandable. She
\nand Pulding will be staying at the German Doctor’s Hospital’s “Mother’s
\nHaus” until she is strong enough to travel home.<\/p>\n
Wonderful how our loving, merciful, all knowing God arranged the surgeon
\nspecialists from Germany to be there ready for her!<\/p>\n
