The lawyer, Edith,
was a nice, pleasant lady. She asked Gene if he is a missionary. Upon
a “yes” response she listened and asked questions as Gene gave her a
nutshell version of the gospel of grace. He offered to give her MP3
audio Bible lessons.

When we left the city and got back to our guesthouse a couple of days
later, after a few emails back and forth with her about if MP3 files or
books would work best for her, she decided on MP3 files on a USB thumb
drive. She gave us her address for package delivery and this morning we
sent her a thumb drive with chronological evangelistic lessons from
Genesis 1:1 to the accession of Christ.

The lessons are the evangelistic lessons the Manubu’ Bible teachers
teach translated from Manubu’ into Cebuano which is her mother tongue
language and is the language of the Filipino people in the towns and
cities of our island. Please PRAY for Edith, that she will listen to
all of the lessons, be saved, and encourage others to also listen to them.

The buyer of our truck is a friendly guy and has been texting us and
wishing to visit us. All the Manubu’ Bible teachers are presently
meeting together in the lowlands and included in their discussions will
be how and who will teach the guy the evangelistic lessons if he
responds positively to an invitation to listen. He is a Manubu’. His
name is Junie. Please PRAY that Junie and his family and friends will
want to listen and arrangements can be made to teach them.

Our mission guesthouse here on our island has a vehicle which any of us
Ethnos360 (NTM) missionaries can use when we are out of our tribal
location to drive into town or the to city 100km away to buy supplies or
for whatever reason we need it. We pay mileage which covers the cost of
operation. Our present vehicle is very old, in constant need of repair,
and needs to be replaced. If you would like to contribute towards the
purchase of a newer vehicle you can send funds to Ethnos360, 312 West
First Street, Sanford, Florida 32771-1231 and include a note that it is
for the Philippine Field Fund VEH000.

As we translate the OT it has been exciting and encouraging to see how
God orchestrates things to accomplish His good purposes. And it is just
as exciting and encouraging to see Him doing it today!

Greetings. It is so fascinating to see how God works. When we sold our truck last week, Gene went with the buyer to a lawyer in the city where we buy supplies to make the transfer of ownership.
