The New Roomies…

January 27, 2017 by Geoff and Dar Gail McNabb

So we took the plunge last night…and put Zacky in Gracie’s room.  Poor kid has really outgrown his Moses basket/bassinet and needed a bit more space for sleeping.  So with a bit of rearranging…then re-rearranging…and just one more time, let’s try it this way…(to my ever-so patient husband’s chagrin)…we managed to squeeze the travel cot/crib into Grace’s room for Zacky. 🙂  She was away while we were getting things set up, so after bath time, we took her into the room.  She smiled really big and was quite excited about her new roommate.  With such a stellar start, it was bound to be an easy transition, right?  Well, not so — unfortunately, while Grace was as good as gold, Zacky refused to sleep!  I guess all that space was too much for him! Ha! 🙂  Eventually, though, he got into a sound enough sleep to carry on through the night.  Hopefully tonight goes a bit more smoothly…

For those of you out there with kids sharing rooms, please drop a note to let us know any hints or clues about having successful sibling roomies.  And for the rest of you, your prayers are appreciated! 🙂
