\"\"Its been a whole year!!!<\/strong>
since we Left the Home land to live in the colonies:)
\u00a0Hebrews 2 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and\u00a0sin which clings so closely, and\u00a0let us run\u00a0with endurance the race that is\u00a0set before us,
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith<\/strong>,\u00a0who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising\u00a0the shame, and\u00a0is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”\"\"So a year has gone by in a flash, but really that\u2019s life, isn\u2019t it?
Over the last year we have seen Gods faithfulness keeping our little family in so many ways.
We have had lots to adjust to: different weather, different job, different people, different driving, different ways of living, different churches, different citizenship, so many differences, but through it all the one constant was and is\u00a0Christ\u00a0<\/strong>the author and perfecter of our faith.
\u00a0Its incredible to think the differences he lived through when he came from heaven to earth, it makes my change in circumstances pale into insignificance!
Can you imagine coming from perfection to this earth!
But he did it so we could have life!
But why did he do all he did, suffer so much? In these verses it says for the JOY set before him –\u00a0what was that JOY? It was the glory of being seated with his Father.
Ultimately that is our joy too we will one day be with Jesus and the Father in Heaven!
I pray for each of us that that would be our desire as we run the race Christ has given us!
