{"id":14,"date":"2007-10-10T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2007-10-10T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-10-10T13:42:47","modified_gmt":"2007-10-10T17:42:47","slug":"youth-group-meeting-in-deltona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/2007\/10\/10\/youth-group-meeting-in-deltona\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Group meeting in Deltona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Who would have thought it?!<\/p>\n<p>Certainly, not me.&nbsp; I mean, doing a youth group again seems a bit &quot;far off&quot; in my way of thinking.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Yet, isn&#8217;t it just like the Lord to give us a ministry when we least expect it, and feel like we couldn&#8217;t possibly manage another thing?!&nbsp; Then we have to depend more on Him.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for praying for us as we launch out with these dear kids.&nbsp; We are focusing on a group of NTM MK&#8217;s and their friends.&nbsp; We realize these kids often have difficulty in relating to others in the US culture, due to their experiences and more global world-view.<\/p>\n<p>Alton and Cheryl Shady, Amy Heckman, Beth Wick, and a few other adults are working with us in this &quot;student led&quot; youth group Friday nights.&nbsp; The kids are having a ball!&nbsp; We have averaged 35-40 kids each week.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks much for your prayers for us as we have added this to our schedule.&nbsp; We appreciate your care and concerns for us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who would have thought it?!
