\u00a0Dear Friends,\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0Warm (still) greetings from central Florida!\u00a0 We trust the Lord is encouraging you as you walk with Him.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u00a0We recently heard of a disaster that has come upon several of our former students in Mexico (Reed\u2019s,\u00a0 and Bender\u2019s).\u00a0 The tribal area in which they are working took a direct hit by Hurricane Jemina. They have lost much and possibly one vehicle.\u00a0 They spent the night on top of a neighbor\u2019s house while their homes received up to seven feet of water.\u00a0 Needless to say, they have much to walk through in the coming months as they try to replace what was lost.\u00a0 They are safe, and the wives and their 5 children have been evacuated to Chihuahua (approximately 13 hours away).\u00a0 A few guys have gone to assist in the clean up. \u00a0It will take several days of hard work to get things back in order and to determine the extent of their losses.\u00a0 Please pray for these dear folks as they try to return to a \u201cnormal\u201d life.\u00a0 A relief fund has been set up in Mexico for any who might wish to help.\u00a0 Please let us know if you are interested.<\/p>\n
\u00a0On the home front, George, Linda and Amy had a great week in Colorado as we went to visit friends and go to a 30 year ministry reunion and do some partnership development in the Denver area.\u00a0 How good it was to see old friends and meet some new ones as we visited during our time there.\u00a0 It\u2019s always great to see folks walking with and serving the Lord.\u00a0 We were greatly encouraged.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Right before we left for Colorado we had a great weekend retreat on the Florida West Coast with our MK & friends staff team.\u00a0 It was a super time of brainstorming and praying for our kids and planning for the future year.\u00a0 God has encouraged each of us in the direction He is taking our young people.\u00a0 We are so thankful to our friends who allowed us to use their \u201cSeaside\u201d Home, it was beautiful.<\/p>\n
