The forecast was for 24 degrees a couple of nights. I even covered up my plants and the yard looked like a Halloween trail!

This weather is so refreshing! I like it, but I can tell the kids have acclimated to Florida as they have been shivering!

This month finds us rolling along with lots of projects! Amy had a yard sale to raise funds for her ministry as well as to distribute some of her belongings elsewhere. She has a few more meetings to share her ministry in Florida this month and is planning on heading to Wisconsin in early March, and then out to the great Northwest for a few months. You can see her web page for more info or ask her for her newsletter. (www.ntm.org/amy_heckman)

George has been teaching 1 Peter in our Youth group. We are doing several fundraisers and projects for the kids as we get ready to take them to Dare to Share in Atlanta in early March. So far we have 16 signed up to go, with 6 adults sponsors, and we hope and anticipate that the number will grow. We took just a few less than 30 last year.

Tim has finished his basketball season with his school. It was been a fun and learning experience for him. He turns 15 this month and is excited about that. He saw the doctor again this week and we were assured that his broken fingers have healed properly.

David really enjoys playing his new guitar which he helped build. He has been practicing with some kids from our youth group, and he is helping to lead the singing at our meetings. He has also started building another guitar on his own. He has several projects lined up!

Beka loves her school and work in Wisconsin. She is not real fond of the cold, but loves all she is learning, and the folks she is around. The Lord is teaching her many things. She has been dealing with some illness and swollen glads lately. Thanks for your prayers for her.

Debby and Brett adn Chloe are doing well. We enjoy seeing them every so often! They are working with the youth in their church in Palm Bay Florida.

Thanks so much for the part you have in our lives and ministries. We appreciate you and really thank the Lord for your faithfulness in prayer.

Thanks, too, for your prayers for the Member Services Team at the US Home Offices of NTM. We are enjoying working together and it is a blessing to have a few more folks to share the load with! Please pray we would continue to function well together.

Have a great month and STAY WARM!!!

In His Strength,

George and LInda Heckman

Usually a week or two, maybe three-that’s how our winter oges here.
