October 2015

Dear Friends,
Happy Fall! What a nice time of year. We see the “October flowers” blooming that don’t bloom the rest of the year, and there are pumpkins at the pumpkin patch down the street. The weather is not a lot cooler, but it is raining a lot as tropical storms blow by our state in the Atlantic and in the Gulf of Mexico. Our garden continues to grow!
We are rejoicing to serve here at the NTM Home offices. This month, we have a few folks becoming new members of NTM. Always great to welcome new folks to the NTM family. We enjoy helping others in our membership as they go through transitions, and make other changes in their lives and ministries.
This month we had an opportunity to share the work of NTM in a Missions conference in Tampa. This included a visit with family too, as Linda’s brother and sister-in-law work with this ministry! A lot of friends from College and Colorado days are also involved in this ministry. It was almost like a reunion! Pray that the things we shared would be a challenge and encouragement to the ones we share with.
Amy and Hector are awaiting OCTOBER 22 as the big day when they can have Hector’s Green card interview appointment. We pray for God’s timing on this and for the interview to go well, the paperwork to be processed quickly and God’s timing to go to El Paso to pick them up! Judah is 2 now, and Ben is 3 months!
Brett and Debby expect twin boys in February. Please pray for them! They also need wisdom about their car. It broke down, and they might need to fix it enough to sell it and get something more reliable. Pray for them as they continue in Spanish Study, and for the girls to pick up Spanish, and make friends and feel at home there in Metagalpa.
Beka and Cody are enjoying their time in training in Missouri. Pray for them – they appreciate your prayers. They are working with a Hispanic church there and are enjoying using their Spanish.
David and Joice are enjoying their honeymoon in Michigan. They plan to move to Baker City, Oregon in November to begin ministry there.
Tim and Charity are doing well in Waukesha Wisconsin. He is back to working two jobs again. Please pray for all of our kids! Thanks so much. We are so thankful they are all walking with the Lord.
And speaking of thanks, we are so appreciative of your part in our ministry. What a joy to know you are standing with us and praying for us. Thank you for being on our team.
Rejoicing in Him,
George and Linda Heckman
Member Services NTM US

Dear Friends, Happy Fall!
