We are rejoicing that our move to the new office building for NTM has gone very smoothly. There are a few little kinks, but things will even out soon. We have a nice view of a main intersection in Sanford, from our window. Our 4th floor window is above the trees, so it is pretty nice!

The M*B indigenous folks in PNG are responding well to the Teaching on God’s Word which they have heard! What a blessing! The I*** folks in PNG also are hearing God’s word, and many respond like this: “We used to hear that if we women heard certain men’s initiation stories that the spirits would kill us. Those were lies. Those spirits have no power. God alone has all power.” -Said my I*** friend after the teaching today.” Another said,
“Thank you for your prayers for last week, for the first time, my people heard the word of God in their language. One of them told us, “We used to see only the leaves, now we are getting to the root!” – meaning, we used to hear some stories about God but we didn’t know where they came from, how they fit together and where they originated.
In this culture the people think that sicknesses are the result of their “sins”, for instance if they transgress a taboo. This last week, they’ve been shocked to hear that the world God created was perfect, not like the world they see today. There was no death, no sicknesses, no suffering. Next week they will hear that death and sickness are the consequences of the fall. This is totally new to them, it will change the way they see the world.”
Continue to pray as these people continue to hear pivotal lessons in the Chronological teaching of God’s word.

We are praying with Beka and Cody for wisdom as they continue at work and pilot training. Beka’s knee injury is giving her problems, and she may have to have surgery. She also has several dental issues to add to her mix. As this is a financially tight semester for them, these unexpected expenses will be “faith stretchers!” for them. Cody is doing very well, and was able to repair their second vehicle.
We are excited to see God at work in many places through our little family. Brett and Debby are doing well in Nicaragua; please pray for their health–this is a constant issue for their family. Amy & Hector in Missouri are continuing on with their work and ministries there at the training center. Hector has met some new and unexpected challenges in Phonetics, but we know GOD IS FAITHFUL. Please remember to pray for him in this area. David & Joice as well as Tim & Charity are working lots of hours. Joice is in Dental Assistant school, to get the licensing she’ll need to do that job in Florida, as well as working at an Office Depot. We pray they will continue to grow in their walk with the Lord. The curves that life throws at us can draw us to HIM, or distract us. We pray our kids will be drawn to their Savior!
George’s brother Paul has been in the hospital lately. Pray for his doctors to know how best to treat what is bothering him. There is indication that he had another stroke, just not sure when that occurred. George’s mom has Shingles now, and that is not a fun experience! Thanks for praying for her, too.

Thank you so much for your partnership in the Gospel. We appreciate your prayers for our family and ministries, as wells as your support. We are so thankful to the Lord for you!
Sincerely,

George and Linda Heckman
New Tribes Mission
US Home Offices
Sanford, FL

March 2017 Dear Friends, Thanks so much for your continued prayers for us.
