{"id":606,"date":"2018-03-16T13:40:03","date_gmt":"2018-03-16T17:40:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/?p=606"},"modified":"2018-03-16T13:40:03","modified_gmt":"2018-03-16T17:40:03","slug":"hello-from-the-heckmans-march-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/2018\/03\/16\/hello-from-the-heckmans-march-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"Hello From the Heckmans  March 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!<\/p>\n<p>We\u00a0 welcomed baby Elena Marie Flores!\u00a0 This last month.\u00a0 She arrived February 25.\u00a0 She is living in Roach Missouri with Mom and Dad, while Dad finishes his Missionary training with Ethnos360.\u00a0 She will get to go to &#8220;Simple Living&#8221; with her family in April.\u00a0 That will be exciting.\u00a0 She has already been to her first planning meeting with her family&#8217;s e-link group!\u00a0 \u00a0We had a great time in Missouri with the Flores\u2019 family and also it was great to touch base with so many of the folks there that are friends. (Many friends from 30 years ago.)\u00a0 God is good, and it was a special time.\u00a0 There are lots of cute pictures on Amy&#8217;s and Linda&#8217;s Facebook page if you&#8217;d like to see them,\u00a0 or email me if you would like me to send you some.\u00a0 [recent max=3 id=29 template=nggallery\/]<\/p>\n<p>On the Home front, George\u2019s dad is still in the Rehab center, but was able to sit up last month, for short times with assistance.\u00a0 The sore has still not completely healed so physical and occupational therapy is limited to nothing, at this time.\u00a0 Please pray, as he gets very frustrated with the pain, and inability to move.\u00a0 Mom had a fall a bit ago, and has a fractured lumbar low in her back.\u00a0 She also required several stitches in her leg.\u00a0 Pray for her in these days as it is still confusing for her to have home health care people in her home, and Dad not at home.\u00a0 We see good days and bad with both Mom and Dad.\u00a0 \u00a0We will probably be continuing to go to be with them on weekends as long as we need to. (It is a 4 hour drive for us-one way).\u00a0 George\u2019s brothers are doing what they can. But it is a situation that takes a lot of time, and is very tiring.\u00a0 We are thankful\u00a0that Dad\u2019s sister from Ohio, and his niece were able to come and visit last month.\u00a0 We are praying that he was encouraged, as he has had a rough time of it most days.<\/p>\n<p>We rejoice to be a part of, and see the Gospel continuing to go out to groups of people who had never before had a chance to hear it.\u00a0 Around the world, missionaries with Ethnos360 are seeing people believing the gospel for the first time.\u00a0 You can hear about these prayer updates on the Ethnos360 web page. <strong><u>Ethnos360.org<\/u><\/strong> has regular updates daily and a place to subscribe for them to be e-mailed to you.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you so much for your support and prayers for our ministry.\u00a0 You are such a blessing to us, and we count it a privilege to be a part on this team to reach the world with the Gospel.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a real blessing to hear from some of you lately.\u00a0 Thanks!\u00a0 It has been like good news to a thirsty soul!\u00a0 Let us know how to pray for you, as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>George and Linda Heckman<br \/>\nEthnos360 Home Offices-Florida<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!
