He is Risen, as He said!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Luke 24 has become one of my favorite chapters in the Bible.&nbsp; The Lord Jesus is so patient with his disciples.&nbsp; They are very quick to question and slow to believe.&nbsp; I feel an affinity with them sometimes.&nbsp; Probably more than I want to admit!&nbsp; I read a good part of this chapter in Church Easter Sunday before I sang a special song-on of my favorites by Steve Green &#8211; \u201cI can See\u201d&nbsp; the story of the \u201dStranger\u201d on the road to Emmaeus.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The song tells this story and asks piercing questions for us all.\u00a0 \u201cCan\u2019t you see who walks with you?\u00a0 Can\u2019t you hear Who speaks your name?\u00a0 Can\u2019t you feel something stirring in your heart?\u00a0 Can the paths we follow from now on, be the same?\u201d\u00a0 <em>Because we KNOW that the Lord Jesus rose form the dead, what changes will this bring to our lives?<\/em>\u00a0 Will we remember He walks with us, and His Sprit is within us, and empowering us?\u00a0 Will we trust and not be afraid when He stirs our heart with His words?\u00a0 Will we listen as He guides us along the path HE chooses for us?\u00a0 Will we follow Him in obedience?<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong><em>We pray you had a wonderful Easter, remembering our risen Lord<\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We continue our work with <strong>Ethnos360<\/strong> from our home,\u00a0 We are thankful for the ability to work remotely, and still accomplish the tasks we have before us in the Member Services Department,\u00a0 <strong>It is exciting to see people being able to return to their ministry on several of the fields of service.\u00a0<\/strong> International travel has opened up a bit more to some places, while other countries are closed to incoming travellers. While travel to some countries is opening up, ticket prices for this travel is really high!\u00a0<strong> Pray for our missionaries to have wisdom in planning their return to their fields, as well as provision for them to be able to go.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>News from Papua<\/strong> (the Western half of the Island of Papua New Guinea), which is a part of Asia-Pacific, tells us of <strong>another people group which has now heard the Gospel in their own heart language.<\/strong>\u00a0 We rejoice with them in their new found salvation form sin, through faith in Christ alone!\u00a0 <strong>Pray for these missionaries to have wisdom as they train these new believers, as well as the new believers to grasp the truths of the Word of God and learn to walk with the Savior.<\/strong>\u00a0 I haven\u2019t heard how many folks have put their trust in Christ, yet but am watching the Ethnos360 website for news of this story!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0 George and Linda, and our whole department, have been working on writing up the tasks for the <strong>Procedure Manua<\/strong>l for our new software system, and how to do what we do.\u00a0 It\u2019s really good to have that in place, as we never know when the Lord may move someone on, and somebody else will need to know what to do and how to do it!\u00a0 We have written many a manual during our years with the mission!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 On the <strong>\u201cHome Front\u201d<\/strong> our kids and their families are pretty settled in&#8211;in their jobs and ministries.\u00a0 Tim and Mandy made it safely to North Carolina with their big trailer.\u00a0 He is working now and even got to work with David on a shift or two at the moving company.\u00a0 He loves the job!\u00a0 Praise the Lord!!\u00a0 Brett and Debby are doing well in ministry in Illinois.\u00a0 Brett is Pastoring a church, and Debby is homeschooling her 4 kiddos, and they take lots of hiking trips and exploration trips around Illinois and Indiana on Mondays!\u00a0 The Flores family will be making a trip next week to the city to get Sofia&#8217;s passport.  She is almost one, and her temporary passport was only good for one year!  Pray for safety on their trip and no hangups at the  offices.
