HAPPY EASTER!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em><u>Hello From Florida!\u00a0 \u00a0April 2022:\u00a0 \u00a0Happy Easter-Jesus has risen!!<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>March was a very busy month!!\u00a0 We are so thankful for all the Lord has done this last month.<\/p>\n<p>Our new software training went well. And the team in Member Services is buy working with it. We really \u00a0\u00a0thank the Lord, for dedicated IT workers and program designers!<\/p>\n<p>We continue to work from home for Ethnos360, and we continue to stay in touch with our team via internet meetings.\u00a0 It works pretty well, and we can stay on task here at home with the heartbeat of our ministry-serving our members.<\/p>\n<p>George and Linda continue to work with our folks who are moving toward retirement, and coaching them through this transition.\u00a0 It can be a difficult time, and we long to encourage our folks that God is still interested in using us-no matter what our \u201cStatus\u201d.\u00a0 He just wants faithful folks to live for Him.<\/p>\n<p>Our kids, Debby, Brett (and family) are still staying with us.\u00a0 But we have good news on that front! Brett passed his RE exam and is working now in the Real Estate field from an office in Ormond Beach.\u00a0 Please pray for good contacts for him, and for some sales.\u00a0 They also would like to relocate in that area of Florida.\u00a0 We enjoy the activity and fun of the family here with us.<\/p>\n<p>Beka and Cody were very ready for baby Benaiah\u2019s arrival.\u00a0 She went to the hospital on March 27 for labor to be induced. Baby \u201cNaiah\u201d came at 11:45 am in March 28!\u00a0 7 lbs 5 oz and 20\u201d.\u00a0 He is healthy and mom is doing so great!\u00a0 She is so thankful to not to be nauseous!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/Beka-Cody-adn-Naiah.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-905\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-905\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/Beka-Cody-adn-Naiah-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/Beka-Cody-adn-Naiah-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/Beka-Cody-adn-Naiah-83x110.jpg 83w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/Beka-Cody-adn-Naiah-188x250.jpg 188w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/Beka-Cody-adn-Naiah-190x253.jpg 190w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/Beka-Cody-adn-Naiah.jpg 402w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Abi likes his baby \u201cbruvver\u201d!\u00a0 They seem to look a lot alike in their facial expressions!\u00a0 They should be good pals for m<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/ABI-AND-Naiah1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-906\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-906 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/ABI-AND-Naiah1-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/ABI-AND-Naiah1-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/ABI-AND-Naiah1-82x110.jpg 82w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/ABI-AND-Naiah1-187x250.jpg 187w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/ABI-AND-Naiah1-189x253.jpg 189w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/george-heckman\/files\/2022\/04\/ABI-AND-Naiah1.jpg 370w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a>any years!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The Burns plan to return to PNG after Beka is cleared with her heart doctor, and some tests have been done to make sure her medications will cover the rhythm irregularities she has faced.\u00a0 She seems to be doing very well on the medicine she is on.\u00a0 Cody will begin flying once he returns to the field.\u00a0 Abi regularly packs his backpack and says he is ready to fly back to Papua New Guinea!\u00a0 He will be happy to get back to his friends there.\u00a0 Be sure to watch the Burns\u2019 Blog for updates.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Linda is recovering from her meniscus repair on her right knee She only needed the crutches for a day or so.\u00a0 We thank the Lord that it is healing, and she will be able to help with and hug that baby lots! \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n<p>Our family down in Mexico (Amy and Hector Flores) are doing well.\u00a0 Hector is able to keep up with the demands of curriculum development as well as teaching the missionary candidates there at Rancho Siloe.\u00a0 Hector recently returned from a tribal village not too far away, to check on how the students are doing with language learning out in the rough.\u00a0 It\u2019s quite a learning process for the students to learn how to lean an unwritten language!<\/p>\n<p>Amy is doing well and keeping busy.\u00a0 This ministry at the National Training Center fits them both well.\u00a0 We are so thankful that the Lord prepares us for how He wants to use us!<\/p>\n<p>We thank you so much for your partnership in our ministry.\u00a0 As we serve here in Sanford, we enable our missionaries to stay on the field in many ways.\u00a0 There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes, and we are thankful for your prayers and moral and\/or financial support as we work here and keep our missionaries able to work well in their ministries through the work we do.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for your prayers for our ministries and family.\u00a0 Thanks for remembering George\u2019s Dad Frank in prayer.\u00a0 He is a joy to care for and is a faithful man praying for others even though he is still bedridden.<\/p>\n<p>We trust you will find hope and encouragement in the Lord as we come to another Spring season, and an Easter to remember that because Jesus LIVES, we have a hope for our future, and strength to live day by day walking with our Heavenly Father.<\/p>\n<p>Because He Lives,<\/p>\n<p>George and Linda Heckman<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThanks be to God who gives us the victory in our Lord Jesus Christ.
