Deep in the jungles, unnoticed by the world, but some of these men would probably be in the Heb. 11 &#8220;Hall of faith&#8221; if it were written today. Honored to work with them.<\/p>\n<p>As we left the muddy shores of the village yesterday, I turned back and snapped this picture of the pastors and village believers and their sad faces as we pushed off. What a precious week of fellowship and meetings&#8230;people from 5 different tribes who years ago used to be strangers and enemies, but were now sad to leave each other\u2019s fellowship. At the end of the conference our host stayed up all night to hunt a wild pig in the jungles. He came back with a feast for the guests to share with everyone. Then lots of hugs and handshakes to express their thanks as we parted our ways. And now I\u2019m back&#8230;in my world. A world of airplanes, comfy beds, washing machines and clean clothes, warm showers, and cell phone service. Back to the world of Facebook, emails and tight schedules. A world of texting my wife on the other side of the world&#8230;and getting a response in two seconds! A world so strange and distant just yesterday&#8230; it seems like a different planet.<\/p>\n<p>Pray for me as I begin my last conference today. Different tribe. Different concerns. Same weak voice, same Big God!!<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your prayers!
