<\/p>\nA small group of believers gather at our place for worship regularly. \u00a0God is building His church here in this Joola village and we are blessed to be a part! Believers meet together in our garage and we have just built an extension to make more space. \u00a0It makes a great play room too!<\/p>\n

The church is led by Charles and a few other young men who are growing in their faith and gifted teachers. \u00a0Charles preaches on rotation with them. \u00a0They are great! We go to them all the time for advice about the community and language study. \u00a0What a blessing to be able to understand life and ministry here not alone, as strangers, but with the help of brothers in Christ who are from here! The church regularly has:<\/p>\n
-Sunday worship in Joola using French Bibles and translation on the spot<\/p>\n
-Wednesday prayer group<\/p>\n
-Kids church, and community kids club<\/p>\n
-Bible teaching chronologically<\/p>\n
-leadership meetings<\/p>\n
-ladies meetings<\/p>\n
Please pray for us! Pray for us to keep learning how to communicate well in this context. \u00a0Pray for the leadership especially to mature and grow in unity together. \u00a0Pray for the direction of the Holy Spirit in the church and in individual lives. \u00a0Pray for people to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading and use their gifts to build up the church. We are still praying for someone to be inspired with worship songs in their own language. \u00a0Pray for the ladies to be maturing as well. \u00a0Pray for the children’s ministry.<\/p>\n
