The guys worked hard writing stories and were really challenged because they were limited on the letters and syllables they could use depending on the lesson. Two weeks complete, we have first drafts and now need to go home and do testing and editing. We also need to develop teachers manuals for future teachers. Pray for us as we try and work out the final spellings of words and edit material with no spell checker. We are also seeking financial partners for this project as we will have to pay for materials and pay teachers something for their time. If you are interested, tap above “give” to see how. Please include a note with your gift that says, “Badiane, Senegal, and Literacy project”. And please pray for God’s guidance in who might be in our first classes and may become future teachers.

What a treasure to have the Word of God in your own language! We do not yet have a Bible in Joola where we work. We do hope to start translating soon, though. One day, we pray that there is a Bible here but people will need to learn to read and write this language […]

[1
112230
0":"post-518","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-uncategorized","7":"tag-ethnos360","8":"entry
["GET
