So in less than two weeks a six-member team heads to one of the most remote parts of the world – deep in the Indonesian rainforest – to get the footage we need to tell that story on video.

Here are three remaining opportunities:

$150 for luggage: I took a rollaway bag to Papua New Guinea in 2005, and I doubt it’ll survive another trip, even if it was suitable for this one.

$150 for trail shoes: My 40-pound weight allowance should be sufficient if I have one pair of shoes suitable for travel and for two weeks in rugged, wet, muddy terrain.

$200 for miscellaneous expenses: This covers things like food, some clothing, bug repellent, travel accessories, etc.
