Well, Julie and I are in the second day of our conference here, and all is going well. We’re having a wonderful time reconnecting with missionaries who serve, literally, around the world, and are being enriched by some world-class teaching from Dr. Mark L. Bailey, president of Dallas Theological Seminary.
But perhaps you are wondering about our car …
Today, the mechanic on staff here is supposed to get a rebuilt power steering pump and put it in. It appears we will be paying only for parts and supplies — which is a huge help to our budget.
I still think we need a newer, larger vehicle. But until (or unless) God decides it’s time, I’ll be thankful for what He has provided and what He is doing to keep this one on the road.
Speaking of which, we head home Friday and Saturday, and would appreciate your prayers once again.
