So what happened?

I didn’t mean to leave you hanging last time.

A week ago, I told you that the missionaries to the Tobo people of Papua New Guinea had presented the Gospel … but what happened then?

Some Tobos struggled with the simplicity of the Gospel. When you’ve worked hard to try to “earn” salvation, and then worked to try to keep it, you don’t really want to hear that it’s a gift.

But many of the Tobos placed their faith in Christ, and are sharing the Gospel with other Tobos.

While you didn’t get the chance to pray for them as they were hearing the Good News for the first time, you still had a part in making that possible, because of the role you play in our ministry.

We appreciate your prayers about the headaches our daughter Brynna is still having, which started with her car accident in October. Doctors last week were unable to find any physical damage, so she is undergoing more therapy. Please keep praying that the headaches will end.

God provides for our ministry through the gifts of His people. We are thankful to Him and to you. Our current income does not meet our expenses, and is far below our recommended support level. We are taking steps to try to change that, and we’re tempted to be discouraged because our plans are not working out. But that just means God has a better plan. Please pray.
