I didn&rsquo;t expect Him to almost immediately prompt me to give to another, and I hesitated to obey. OK, so two weeks of trying to avoid the subject is a little more than hesitation. But in the end, I gave again.<\/p>\n<p>That left us in a rather precarious situation. We were going to Chicago for two weeks, to see supporters and friends, and I wasn&rsquo;t sure how we&rsquo;d pay the bills for that. But trips like that are vital to our ministry, so we went.<\/p>\n<p>When we got back, I did the math. We should have been short by about the amount we gave. But we weren&rsquo;t. Somehow, God provided so we can pay all the bills from that trip. I don&rsquo;t understand it; that shouldn&rsquo;t have worked out. But it did. <\/p>\n<p>Or perhaps I should say that He worked it out.
