In October, we told you about <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/ian-fallis\/2009\/10\/06\/a-lot-of-reasons-to-say-no\/#more-2299\">his illness<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/ian-fallis\/2009\/10\/15\/how-to-die-well\/#more-3973\">his death<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>None of the Dao believers doubt even for a second the existence of these evil spirits or their intention to do harm.<\/p>\n<p>But they have begun <!--more-->to seriously doubt the old ways of chasing these spirits away.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is only One that is powerful enough to chase spirits! Only One that they are afraid of and that One is Jesus!\u201d Apiyaawoogi said to several people the other day.<\/p>\n<p>Topewa later confided that she doesn\u2019t think Wakayoo can do anything about the spirits. \u201cOnly Jeuss can make those spirits go away,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Wadamena said the noises and voices don\u2019t bother her like they used to.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the past we would have been a lot more fearful of these spirits than we are today because we had not yet heard about Jesus,\u201d she said. \u201cNow we have heard that Jesus has the power to send them away by only His word and so when we are scared, we call out to Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Your participation in our ministry is changing lives among tribal people around the world \u2013 thank you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Dao village was buzzing with the big news.
