Sure, some numbers are useful. If your bank has alerts, it\u2019s probably a good thing if you get a note with numbers when your checking account balance drops below 11 cents. But even then, wouldn\u2019t it be better if it looked like this:<\/p>\n<p>Your checking account balance: <span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><strong>8 cents!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>And perhaps it would be better if your bank sent you a photo or illustration of a bank vault that is empty except for a nickel and three pennies on the floor, with the caption, \u201cThis is your account balance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is why I\u2019m going to start painting you a picture of our ministry in the coming months. I\u2019m going to paint a word picture, which is kinda cheating, like painting by number (if you\u2019re not familiar with those, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/s\/?ie=UTF8&amp;keywords=paint+by+number+kits&amp;tag=googhydr-20&amp;index=aps&amp;hvadid=4233525999&amp;ref=pd_sl_739cbhndp9_b\" target=\"_blank\">look here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s the best I can do.
