Dave is working on some of the first lessons, and he was telling Tossito about Lucifer.<\/p>\n<p>When he told Tossito that God gave Lucifer a position over the other angels, but Lucifer rebelled and one-third of the angels joined him, Tossito was stunned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNa! Na! Na! Na! No way!\u201d Tossito said, \u201cHe rebelled against <strong>God<\/strong>? No way! <strong>Why<\/strong>?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What an excellent question. Lucifier was a creation of God. God gave him a position because he was created for that position, not because he earned it or merited. It was God\u2019s choice. Why <!--more-->would Lucifer rebel against God?<\/p>\n<p>Same reason you and I do. Pride. We\u2019re created by God. We have a position as sons and daughters of God, only through the grace of God. We certainly have not earned that. Yet we rebel. We want more.<\/p>\n<p>OK, maybe you don\u2019t. Maybe you\u2019re always content. Not me. I sometimes actually think I deserve more. Sometimes I think I deserve to be treated better.<\/p>\n<p>Because sometimes I forget that the One who died for me never deserved that.
