But it wasn\u2019t a Floridian asking. It was a Da\u2019an man in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Missionary James Poarch was spending time with an older neighbor, as he learns the culture and language of the Da\u2019an people. He was specifically asking about their beliefs in regard to a creator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMohontara was always good,\u201d the neighbor said. \u201cMohontara created everything, and everything was good.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But then James\u2019 neighbor stopped. He though for a bit, then <!--more-->he motioned to his floor \u2013 or actually, to the space below the floor that was visible though the cracks between the floorboards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy then,\u201d the neighbor asked, \u201cdid Mohontara create mosquitoes, biting ants and centipedes? If Mohontara made everything good, and these things hurt us, what happened?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What an opportunity! But that\u2019s a long story. James sketched it out for him \u2013 that God is good, and created everything, and everything He created is good. Then it was ruined by man\u2019s sin. God has sent His Son as the remedy for our sin.<\/p>\n<p>Did the neighbor understand? Only God knows.
