You may have asked similar questions. But you probably haven\u2019t asked them for quite the same reason as he asked.<\/p>\n<p>The man got up to speak at a going-away party for missionaries Aaron and Lori Luse.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->\u201cWhy us?\u201d he began. He noted that God prompted Aaron and Lori to share God\u2019s Word where the gospel had not reached, and then sent them to his country. God sent them to his people, and to his village. When Aaron and Lori were ready to teach from Creation to Christ, God prompted the man and others in his village to listen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow we are part of God\u2019s clan,\u201d he said, concluding in tears, \u201cI don\u2019t know why it was us, but I am so thankful to God.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m sure you\u2019re thankful for your salvation, as I am for mine. And we\u2019re thankful for the sacrifice of Christ on the cross so we could have salvation.<\/p>\n<p>But have you ever pondered why we have such easy access to salvation, while others live and die without hope? Without knowing a single believer? Without a verse of Scripture they can read and understand?<\/p>\n<p>Why us? \u201cBecause He loves us\u201d is only half an answer. \u201cBecause He loves those who haven\u2019t heard\u201d is the other half.
