Sunday morning we attended a church service in one village, and Sunday evening, an outreach to a village up in the mountains on the border.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Monday morning\u2019s highlight was interviewing the three Prai young women who are teaching literacy. It was a highlight because of their vision for how important it is for people to be able to read God\u2019s Word for themselves, and their burden for the many unreached among their own people. Teaching them to read and write their own language is a great way of getting them involved in Bible lessons.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">One of them, Nit, was horribly carsick on the winding road to a village where she would be teaching \u2013 a trip she would have to take repeatedly. \u201cI said, \u2018Lord, does it have to be this way?\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cBut I thought, God has brought me here for this. I\u2019m going to persevere.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u201cI\u2019m just really pressured inside,\u201d said her co-worker, Nut, \u201cto go up there and teach people to read,\u201d because literacy will greatly help the church reach out to those who have not heard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Would you pray for Nit, Nut and Nim as they persevere in teaching literacy in Prai villages?
