We are thankful for a Savior who died and rose again for us, despite our inability to love and serve Him perfectly! We are thankful for a Savior who accepts us, his children, just as He made us. We are thankful that He is so patient with us as He teaches us and grows us up more and more every day. We are thankful for a Savior who loves us and takes care of us in the little and big things each and every day! And we are thankful that we get to be used by God to accomplish so much that brings Glory to God! Please pray for us, that we would continue to desire to know God more and more every day and be open to His will for our daily lives.
We also want to ask for your prayers for us as we head down to Australia on Thursday, April 25th, for Naomi’s annual MRI and doctor’s appointments. Please pray for smooth preparations and travel, as we will need to overnight in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Please pray for quick adjustment to civilization. Please pray for Naomi’s MRI and doctor’s appointments; pray that the results would show nothing has changed with her NCM condition. Please pray also that we would have time for some rest before heading back to PNG on May 13th.
Thank you for praying for the situation with the Department of Labor and regulations for Work Permits. We are happy to let you know that the Department of Labor has agreed to meet with NTM at the NTM Centre in Goroka! Representatives of many other missions will also be joining the meeting with the Department of Labor. And they would also like to sit down and talk with representatives from our citizen workers too! Please pray for these critically important meetings on April 29 and April 30. We have heard that a member of parliament supportive of missions in PNG will also be in attendance in the meeting on April 30. Please be praying for a positive outcome, allowing support missionaries to stay in the country to serve!
