We are thankful for a\nSavior who accepts us, his children, just as He made us. We are thankful that\nHe is so patient with us as He teaches us and grows us up more and more every\nday. We are thankful for a Savior who loves us and takes care of us in the\nlittle and big things each and every day! And we are thankful that we get to be\nused by God to accomplish so much that brings Glory to God! Please pray for us,\nthat we would continue to desire to know God more and more every day and be\nopen to His will for our daily lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also want to ask for your prayers for us as we head down\nto Australia on Thursday, April 25<sup>th<\/sup>, for Naomi\u2019s annual MRI and\ndoctor\u2019s appointments. Please pray for smooth preparations and travel, as we\nwill need to overnight in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Please pray for quick\nadjustment to civilization. Please pray for Naomi\u2019s MRI and doctor\u2019s\nappointments; pray that the results would show nothing has changed with her NCM\ncondition. Please pray also that we would have time for some rest before\nheading back to PNG on May 13<sup>th<\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for praying for the situation with the Department\nof Labor and regulations for Work Permits. We are happy to let you know that\nthe Department of Labor has agreed to meet with NTM at the NTM Centre in\nGoroka! Representatives of many other missions will also be joining the meeting\nwith the Department of Labor. And they would also like to sit down and talk\nwith representatives from our citizen workers too! Please pray for these\ncritically important meetings on April 29 and April 30. We have heard that a\nmember of parliament supportive of missions in PNG will also be in attendance\nin the meeting on April 30. Please be praying for a positive outcome, allowing\nsupport missionaries to stay in the country to serve! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Praises!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Jacob\u2019s leg and Naomi\u2019s leg are healing very\nwell!<\/li><li>Our good friend, Nate, also a missionary with\nNTM is visiting us from Goroka.<\/li><li>Jacob\u2019s dad, Stanley, will be visiting us in Goroka,\nSeptember \u2013 November!<\/li><li>Opportunity to fill in at the Guesthouse at the\nNTM Centre in Goroka starting in August.<\/li><li>Opportunity to stay at the Ronald McDonald House\nwhen we head down to Australia for Naomi\u2019s annual medical checkups.<\/li><li>Naomi, is now 2 years old, she is healthy still\nno side effects from her NCM condition! <\/li><li>A God who sent His Son to die for our sins and\nrose him up so that we could have daily life abundantly and REST in Him!<\/li><li>God\u2019s continued provision for our needs moment\nby moment!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prayer requests:The Meyer family as they start to learn the language and culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jacob and Naomi\u2019s legs \u2013 for complete healing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our Annual trip to Brisbane, April 25-May 14, for Naomi\u2019s medical checkup for NCM. Pray that the MRI and Naomi\u2019s other doctor\u2019s appointments would go well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Provision of funds for airfare and accommodations, as we are unsure if our new insurance will cover accommodations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That we would remember that God holds everything together including us! And He is working all around us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continued peace about our move to the Guesthouse in Goroka and wisdom for our future ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rest in God as we enjoy being parents of two children!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God would continue to raise up more missionaries to come to the Sepik and bring the Gospel to those who have never heard it their own heart language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More laborers to minister to the Bena people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Lee and Heti (Bena believer) continue to teach the Bena, where David and Wendy Lee used to live, pray for more Bena brothers and sisters
