Thank you for praying for us during this time. We are\nalso praying for all of you all over the world that God would show Himself\nstrong in many lives during this difficult time. \u201cIn the fear of the Lord one\nhas strong confidence, and his children will have a refuge.\u201d Proverbs 14:26<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a couple updates from NTMPNG\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Written\nApril 3\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cNTM PNG is aware that the U.S. Embassy, in\nconjunction with the U.S. Department of State, has arranged a repatriation\nflight for U.S. citizens who wish to depart Papua New Guinea. NTM PNG members\nhave the freedom to participate in such a repatriation flight and a number have\ntaken advantage of this opportunity. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>NTM PNG will continue to maintain core church\ndevelopment functions with those members who remain in PNG.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Thank you for your prayers as we walk through this\ntogether.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cAs of 22 April 2020, PNG has 8 confirmed COVID-19\ncases in country. Some of these cases are in provinces where NTM has personnel.\nCenters in these locations are now at an elevated security level. Field &amp;\narea leadership have put measures in place in these locations to ensure the\nsafety &amp; security of our members.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Please be praying for our members who are facing\ntemporary but sudden restrictions.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were very busy at the guesthouse before the repatriation\nflight. We were happy that we could help so many. Now life is starting to slow\ndown a little bit as we are living in one of the provinces that has elevated\nsecurity. We continue to we feel it\nis safe for us to stay here. We are thankful that we can be a part of\nsupporting the missionaries interior who are continuing to learn language and\nculture, teach \u201cGod\u2019s Talk\u201d to the citizens and translate the Word of God into\ntheir own languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our tickets for June 7<sup>th<\/sup> departure have not been\ncanceled yet, but we are very uncertain whether we will be able to use these\ntickets. We would appreciate prayers for wisdom when we do receive information\nabout our flights via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are very happy to tell you that after 10 years of marriage we\nhave finally filled out all the necessary paperwork in order to apply for\nBeth\u2019s Canadian Permanent Residency. So we will be able to live in a North\nAmerican country for longer than 6 months together! And God has provided all\nthe money needed for it as well! We have applied for the Permanent Residency\nalready! But we are still working on one last part of the application which has\nbeen given a 3 month extension due to many government offices being shut down\nduring this unprecedented time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We would love to hear from all of you! Many of you are in\nyour homes a lot more these days, so drop us an email or FB message to tell us\nhow you are doing during this surreal time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Praises!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>God\u2019s Word is still being taught in PNG!<\/li><li>We are healthy and safe, in a country with very low Corona Virus cases.<\/li><li>Application submitted for Beth\u2019s Permanent residency! Provision for Fees!<\/li><li>Jacob and Beth both get to home school Jonathan now, and he is enjoying it!<\/li><li>Naomi enjoys having Jonathan around all the time to play with &amp; also tries to \u201cdo school\u201d.<\/li><li>A God who sent His Son to die for our sins and rose him up so that we could have daily life abundantly and REST in Him!<\/li><li>God\u2019s continued provision for our needs moment by moment!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prayer requests:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The CV would not get any worse in PNG.<\/li><li>The ability to obtain the last\ndocuments needed for Beth\u2019s Canadian PR. And quick approval of it!<\/li><li>Wisdom in everyday life as things\nchange very suddenly due to the CV regulations.<\/li><li>Wisdom in departing from PNG if our\ntickets need to be changed, or canceled and bought again.<\/li><li>That we would remember that God holds\neverything together including us! And He is working all around us!<\/li><li>Wisdom in daily life of balancing\nhomeschooling, family and guesthouse responsibilities. <\/li><li>Rest in God as we enjoy being parents!<\/li><li>God would continue to raise up more\nmissionaries to come to the PNG and bring the Gospel to those who have never\nheard it their own heart language.<\/li><li>More laborers to minister to the Bena\npeople.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are so thankful that we have an all-powerful and loving God who never changes.
