We are always grateful to our churches and friends who support us and pray for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Our life here Asia pacific has changed a lot. Meetings and church services were canceled, many shops and businesses were closed, and the streets were much quieter. First of all, according to the city\u2019s requirements, public and gathering places such as schools, offices, cafes, and restaurants were mostly closed. Thankfully, the local markets are still open to supply food and daily necessities to the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Masks and hand sanitizers have already been out of stock for a long period here. The biggest problem is that this crisis is causing many people to lose their jobs. Locals also seem to distrust the official announcements saying that they have recognized the situation. As much as possible, our family is refraining to go outside and minimizing social contact. Because of this, it frustrates and stresses out our children to stay at home, but thankfully they are getting used to it. Most churches are closed as well, and we have family worship services on Sundays.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0 On Easter Sunday, we had a communion service at home to celebrate the risen Lord. A few days ago, Jae also had a meeting with the team through video chat.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please pray with us, <span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Pray that the Corona virus pandemic will settle down as soon as possible and that the economic hardships of the locals will recover quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pray for the friends at our local church so that they can stay firm in their faith.<\/li><li>Pray for our children (Urim and Wooah) to endure this time as they are homeschooling.<\/li><li>Pray that we could take care of our friends and neighbors who need help.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear friends! &nbsp;I hope that the peace and comfort of our Lord will be dwelling at every home of our friends during this time as the world is suffering from the Corona virus.
