Akolet language group we were exposed to a lot of island culture.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Tijdens onze reis naar de Akolet taalgroep mochten wij veel eilanden cultuur meemaken. different than in the bush and that influences not only practical life but also they way the islands people look at life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Het leven op de eilanden is zo verschillend van het leven in de jungle en dat heeft een effect, niet alleen op het dagelijk bestaan, maar ook op hoe de mensen tegen het leven aankijken.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-left  alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jan-wols\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/552\/files\/akolet-2012\/akolet-cano-clamb-shell-harvest-food.jpg\" alt=\"akolet-cano-clamb-shell-harvest-food\" width=\"454\" height=\"341\" \/>The ocean is as their mother, providing them with recourses like food as well as a means to travel to other places.<\/p>\n<p><strong>De zee is voor hen als een moeder die hen voorziet van hun dagelijkse levens- behoeften en een manier van transport. <\/strong><\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 634px\" from other language groups, we were able to visit a young church in this language group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Samen met een paar Papua medewerkers uit andere taalgroepen, konden wij een jonge gemeente bezoeken in deze taalgroep.<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 614px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ngg-singlepic ngg-none\" comfortable with a school and hospital close by. There are also trade stores where you usually can get things like rise, fish, biscuit, soap, salt, but also things like a bush knife and a cooking pot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Het leven is wat gemakkelijker met schooltje en ziekenhuisje in de buurt.
