traveled by car and later with a boat to the west point of our island.<\/strong><br \/>\nWij vertrokken met westerse- en papoea collega\u2019s, eerst met de auto en later met de boot naar de westpunt 1178px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>There were about 30 teachers from 4 villages who came to be trained, to teach literacy to their people in their own language.<\/strong><br \/>\nEen 30 tal onderwijzers uit 4 dorpen waren gekomen om opgeleid te worden om hun mensen te kunnen onderwijzen in hun taal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jan-wols\/files\/2015\/11\/4.jpg\"><img teachers the chance to practice the things they had learned.<\/strong><br \/>\n3 klassen gingen direct van start om de geleerde vaardigheden direct te in de praktijk te brengen.<\/p>\n<p><a 1256px\" \/><\/a><strong>We had a very eager group of young men who wanted to take this chance to learn to read and write right in their own village.<\/strong><br \/>\nDe groep jonge mannen die nog niet konden lezen of schrijven waren zeer leergierig en blij met deze kans op onderwijs in hun eigen dorp.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jan-wols\/files\/2015\/11\/6.jpg\"><img We were glad with the extra help the parents gave to their children.<\/strong><br \/>\nDe jongere kinderen hadden meer tijd en hulp nodig.
