The smell of\u00a0diesel and the sound of breaks fill the air as I\u00a0approach\u00a0the stop sign to work in my home town. A typical North Eastern summer morning with a warm breeze blowing through my car window. As I enter the work place and punch in, I begin to realize how habitual the cycle of life has become.<\/p>\n
If your anything like me, (a creature of habit) you thrive on routine! Punch in, punch out, go home. Day after day we repeat the cycle of what we call every day life. Consumed with accomplishing the next item on the list and shoving all else aside.<\/p>\n
Recently I’ve been considering what I like to call “The Great Mis-Fortune.” Let me explain by asking you a question. Have you considered at all the great\u00a0privilege\u00a0you have of being born in a part of the world where the Gospel has reached? I now realize the great “mis-fortune” that\u00a0literally 2,500 other language groups have.<\/p>\n
The only thing that separates them from you is the fact of birth. Where you were born ultimately determined your exposure to the Gospel message. Consider yourself fortunate my friend because not all have this exposure! Isolated, uncontacted, unreached people groups are a reality.<\/p>\n
It’s not just some fairy tale! We are talking about real live peoples eternities here! And as you punch in and out of work everyday, there are\u00a0literally\u00a0thousands of people around the world who have never had a clear Gospel testimony in their own language and culture.<\/p>\n
Punching into life, and out into eternity separated from God. Isolated from the Gospel message. Not because they want to be, but because it’s their reality. An entire world spinning on, day after day in what we like to call “every day\u00a0life.” But what may be every day life for you, is everyday death for many others.<\/p>\n
Who will tell them?<\/p>\n
