The dining room was transformed as round tables replaced long ones and strings of lights were hung. The greenery that filled the corners and stood in the entry was inviting. The black tablecloths and the golden colored candle holders were elegant.
So … what was the occasion?
A banquet was recently hosted for our upcoming graduating seniors. The night began as we gathered to hear the testimonies and future plans of each student. Our hearts were encouraged as we heard how God has brought and has kept these seniors here at school. Many shared that they had come with a lot of mental knowledge of the Word but sitting under the teaching of our teachers showed them how to live the Word. There are some students that are going on into further missionary training and some are embarking into other careers. We are privileged to have gotten to know these students.
Our kitchen crew and underclassmen servers did a great job in serving the delicious meal of steak and shrimp, potatoes, breads and veggies. They were eager in attending to the needs of their guests andtruly made the event an evening to remember.
And … the yummy desserts tasted as good as they looked!
This class will graduate in December – please pray for them as they continue in their training, their education, and their walk with the Lord.
