Kitchen Duty …

March 28, 2015 by Jared and Diana Jantz

Kitchen Cooking-15b

Just in the past few weeks, Jared and I – on two separate occasions – had the privilege of stepping into the kitchen here at NTBI – Waukesha.

I, along with a few other staff ladies, volunteered to help so that all of the men on staff could enjoy an evening out together; and Jared and his team, (a week later) volunteered so that our kitchen staff could attend a local “food show”.  The kitchen crew had everything prepared, we were just there to keep the food coming!

Maintenance Cooking-15

This food show happens every year but in order for our kitchen staff to attend they need to cover their “bases” or rather the “stations in the kitchen” before leaving for the evening.

Our maintenance team always seems to “step up to the plate” when there is a need so this was no surprise seeing them in aprons and armed with tongs and spatulas.  These guys truly have hearts that desire to “serve”.
